About me…

I’m a bit of a perfectionist who is passionate about photography and getting creative. I have four years of experience working as a Pharmacy technician, which has resulted in me having strong customer service skills and the ability to work closely with a team.

I’m all about learning and growing, and I am always keen for a little fun along the way.

My Passions

Cheerleading

Cheerleading has been a big part of my life for the past 13 years. I started when I was 9 years old, competing until I was 18 and then only coaching until last year. Growing up, it helped me gain so much confidence and taught me the meaning of teamwork. I loved the way that your team became like your family, and I loved teaching the kids these same values and watching them grow in confidence throughout the year.

There is something about choreographing routines, adding my own flair to simple skills to make them more creative and then watching the kids work so hard to bring it all together for competitions.

After leaving high school, reading became a big passion for me. I love escaping in a book, living multiple lives through the characters I’m reading about. In 2025, I read 101 books throughout the year.

My personal library at home is currently sitting at about 250 paper copies of books and my Kindle (of course).

At some stage in the future I would love to start up a book club, creating a safe place to be able to read and discuss books (and maybe geek out a little bit).

Reading

Photography has always been something I loved to do. Capturing snippets of moments that hold memories. Telling a story with just one image is fascinating to me.

I recently purchased a mirrorless camera and have enjoyed getting used to the manual settings, playing around with RAW images and chucking them in Adobe Lightroom to edit and perfect.

I have completed a few shoots as of late that I am pretty proud of;
-Business photos for Devon West Pharmacy that can be found on their website.
- Team photos for Platinum Elite Cheer and Tumble that were sold as a fundraiser.
- A shoot for a friend who is starting out as a make up artist. (@looksbylivi on Instagram if you need your makeup done) These photos were posted on her business page.
- A family shoot for a friend. This taught me heaps about posing people and camera settings with outdoor lighting.

You can rest assured that every photo on this website is taken by me!

Transferable skills

  • I have displayed this by working full-time while completing my New Zealand Certificate in Pharmacy (level 3 and 4). I have also completed the online workshops to become Google Ad certified and a certified Meta Digital Marketing associate.

  • I have the ability to communicate with customers to identify their needs and provide solutions for them. I am able to communicate with my colleagues to ensure we are working cohesively together to provide the best care to our customers. Working in the pharmacy also meant I became adept at communicating via phone or email where necessary, to ensure customers received the best, most accurate care.

  • I have always enjoyed getting creative, making sure I was always involved in at least one art class throughout highschool (mainly photography). In my roll as a pharmacy technician I was often responsible for creating window displays to promote various products. These displays would be entered in competitions that involved all New Zealand pharmacies.

  • I have a strong attention to detail in everything I do and like to think all tasks I complete are done at a high standard. Some people may even say I’m a perfectionist.

  • I have proven to be flexible by picking up additional shifts on Saturdays or changing my hours when the need arises within the team.
